Sawubona! Productions is a VFX production collective set up in 2020 bringing a core team of Five 2D/3D Artists together to collaborate on short and long form VFX projects.
Sawubona! started off as an Artist pool of 300+ creative professionals on LinkedIn from Black and Ethnic backgrounds. The Production collective is a formalised extension of that group that can still reach out to the other members for extra support when needed.
Our ambition is to build a global remote VFX collective with a reputation worthy of our experience that will allow us to work with a variety of Clients and top tier projects to become a trusted brand within the VFX world.
Jermaine Rajis,
CG SUPERVISOR
Jermaine is a Senior 3D artist with a passion and skill based geared towards Lighting and Rendering.
Being render engine agnostic, this has allowed him to use both Maya and Houdini for executing shots in high-end VFX and CG production. He is highly experienced, working across all mediums from still images, car configurators, and VFX for film, episodic, and commercials.
Jermaine always seeks to work with the best and produce the highest quality work possible.

LEAD NUKE ARTIST
Dean's journey began with traditional fine art and photography, fueling a passion for visual storytelling.
Now, as a VFX Compositing Artist living and working in London, Dean leverages a proven track record of over 12 years working in various studios to bring fantastical worlds to life.
Dean's background as a digital compositor is complemented by strong 3D generalist skills, honed through years of personal exploration.
This blend allows seamless integration into any creative team, having worked across film, advertising, and animation.
Ephraim Mwakandu, SENIOR NUKE ARTIST
With over 15 years of experience as a Nuke Compositing artist, Ephraim has worked on a number of Feature films, Netflix productions, and Commercial campaigns.
As a skilled Artist with an eye for detail, Ephraim can integrate live-action footage with CGI to create seamless stunning visuals.
He is proficient in Nuke to a Senior level and can tackle complex VFX challenges efficiently and to a very high standard.
Muhammad Danyaro,
VISUAL EFFECTS ARTIST
Muhammad is a London based professional Visual Effects Artist.
Specialising in Compositing, invisible CG Effects, FX/Sims and Motion Graphics. He has worked on projects for major brands such as Apple, Honda and Hyundai.
He is adept at creating photo-real CGI effects whilst having the general 2D & 3D skills to complete all types of VFX projects from start to finish.
